About Karen

Having received my American Riding Instructors Association ARICP Level III Certification to teach Dressage and and Level II Certification to teach Hunter Seat, I am presently teaching in Bozeman, Montana.

In 2009, I was recognized by ARIA as one of the "Top 50 Riding Instructors in America".

I also own and operate two other businesses. Equestrian Educationals LLC has in the past has coordinated Dr. Gerd Heuschmann's U.S. clinics. Dr. Heuschmann is one of the leading biomechanics veterinarians in Germany. Bridle Bookkeeping LLC, specializes in equine businesses and small farms.

In recent years, I have competed at A shows through second level and have participated in numerous clinics.

Born to a Montana rodeo family, I worked on cattle ranches before college. For more than 30 years, I have ridden in various English and western disciplines. I participated in lessons, clinics and shows for 18 years, including 12 years riding jumpers and eventing and more than 6 years in full-time dressage training.
