My teaching emphasis is on balanced rider position and the effective use of the aids to achieve a harmonious partnership between horse and rider. In recent years I have focused on human and equine biomechanics for the proper development of the horse and rider.

My goal is that clinics and lessons be fun and filled with discovery and understanding. I welcome students in all disciplines, beginner through advanced.

In 2011, I became certified as a Ride-Right instructor. Read more about this qualification and the classes I can bring to you that focus on equestrian cross-training and conditioning as well as sports psychology.

Recognized in 2009 as one of the Top 50 Riding Instructors in America by the American Riding Instructors Association (ARIA), I am an ARIA certified Dressage and Hunt Seat instructor, and also have experience in Eventing and Western.
